In Tao Garden we take a unique special care to the kitchen and you will discover it is possible to enjoy unforgettable delicious dishes while eating healthy!

At Tao Garden, we strive to provide you with tasteful dishes prepared with fresh natural ingredients. A significant proportion of the vegetables and fruits served to you come directly from our own organic gardens, the rest is locally purchased. As a guest, you are most welcome to visit our organic gardens and ensure for yourself our sincere effort into bringing you the best of freshness and the best of quality together for the purpose of delighting your senses at every meal. The variety of dishes and products is well balanced and caters for the demanding needs of our multicultural health clientele. We adopt a neutral stance as to the style of nutrition you prefer and desire you to be comfortable within your range of products. However, out of our own experience, research, and based on the thousands of years of Chinese and Taoist experience into the art of nutrition; we will supply on a daily basis with some unconventional items and will be ready for advising you.

Tao nutrition diet
We approach nutrition with the following concepts in mind:
Acid to alkaline balance. A yin-Yang relationship to balance.
Five elements relationship: The constructive relationship between Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal. Blood type diet and other emerging theories.

Tao sugar
Tao Garden kitchen strictly avoids the use of any refined sugars, using only natural sweeteners such as stevia leaves, freshly pressed sugar cane, local honey, apple juice, dragon eye, longan and other naturally sweet foods.

Tao Himalayan Crystal Salt
We use the original one, coming from Himalayan Mountain in Pakistan which is the most beneficial, cleanest salt available on this planet. It comes from a time when planet earth was a pristine ecosystem and for over 250 million years it remained untouched by man. This salt contains 84 minerals essential to life and the perfect crystalline structure allows nutrients to be easily absorbed at the cellular level, purifying the body physically and bio energetically. In former days, crystal salt was also called "king salt" because it was reserved for Royalty as the common citizen only got rock salt.

Tao Bread and bakery
As celiac disease is quite common all the bakery products such as pancake, wafer, cake in Tao garden are made everyday from our oven using brown rice, pumpkin, taro and whole gluten free natural products.

Tao fresh fruit & vegetable juices
Tao garden health elixirs, supporting detox & anti ageing benefits of Tao Garden spa program, are prepared everyday with pure natural products from our fields. Aloe Vera, Amalaki, Noni, Celery, Mango, Lichi, Strawberry, Pineapple, Longan, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Dragon Fruit, Carrot, Orange and all season fruit. Fresh young coconuts are served in the afternoon at the Tao Garden swimming pool.

Home made Jams
Tamarind, pineapple, kumquat, passion fruit, orange, mango, hibiscus, rind of line, tangerine, and pomelo are served in the morning at Dining Hall every day.

Home made Tao Yoghurt
Tofu and pure goat yogurt served with special muesli and granola are highly digestive and recommended even for people with lactose intolerance. Lactobacillus support detox program.

Home made Soymilk
Freshly made every morning on the premises, our recepe is now enriched with cereals and pandanus leaves. The perfect substitute for diary products.

Home made Rice Milk
Freshly available every evening. The rice milk is said to contain important building blocks for DNA. For the rice and milk, 3-6 grains are chosen from following: Red Rice, Brown Rice, How Fang (tan colored) Rice, Millet, Barley and Lotus Seeds.

Tao organic herbal teas
Are always available for your healthy relax time. Choose the one whose properties may help you in supporting your program: Safflower, Lemon Grass, Pandanus Leaf, Ginger, Lingzhi, Chrysanthemum & Buddha Fruit, Green & Jasmine Tea, Mint, Ginko Biloba, Cassumunar, Roselle, Mulberry, Bael Fruit, Ginseng, Indian Senna, Stevia, Noni, and more.

Tao Seeds & Sprouts in Tao Salad Bar
They are an important source of minerals, vitamins and protein and also add color and taste to your salad! Buckwheat, Peas, Mung Bean Leaf, Water Chestnut, Sunflower seeds, Peppermint leaf, Sweet Basil leaf, Taro Root, Red Bean, Horse-tamarind, Truffle, Beetroot and more.



Green Papaya Hot & Sour Salad
Try this traditional Thai recipe for Som Taam, or spicy (green) papaya salad, available daily at Tao Garden Restaurant. In Taoist Five Element Nutrition, Papaya is said to support the Earth Element (purifies the blood, breaks down acidic deposits, aids digestion) and Metal Element (Counteracts Damp, relieves infection (Asthma)).
